|As you can see from the beginning photos Shaggy had his fair share of rust. The bottom 6 inches all the way around, for the most part, was gone. The positive is he ran well and was drivable. His interior and camping equipment was intact and well cared for during his life. The first phase in Shaggy’s restoration was to rebuild the front axle and install new brakes. Next all of the rust was cut out and new panels welded in. His underside was then coated with Master Series. After this was complete his body was smoothed out and he was given a two tone paint job of Lotus White and Sage Green. On July 8th, 2012 Alex proudly drove Shaggy home.
